Essentially, Veiscash seeks to manage the trust deficit between buyers and sellers by introducing an escrow mechanism whereby buyers make payment to sellers through Vesicash, who transparently lets the sellers know that money has been received but holds the money in escrow till the goods or service has been delivered satisfactorily.

Releaf is industrializing food processing for smallholder farmers in Africa. A challenge with sourcing tonnes of produce from thousands of farmers is the inefficiency of cash handling in order to pay them. Grassroots Banking provided APIs that made it possible to issue accounts to the farmers and eliminate all cash handling while making access to credit lines and savings plans a value added benefits for farmers.
