Obiwezy partnered with OnePipe to maximize the use of standardized, partner-bank APIs that exist on OnePipe’s gateway to achieve a frictionless payment experience for its customers.
The OnePipe Solution
Obiwezy’s use case involves the use of designated APIs that open an embedded account for the customer at the point of checkout and APIs that enable the movement of funds paid into Obiwezy’s designated account resulting in a hitch-free, convenient, timely transaction end-to-end.
Customers can pay for these gadgets seamlessly by bank transfer, such that when payments hit the specific account, Obiwezy can auto-reconcile to determine what has been paid for and who paid.
In simple steps:
- Obiwezy generates a virtual account for customers in real-time
- Customers transfer money to that account
- Obiwezy is notified that such transfers have been received so that they can auto-reconcile and fulfill orders
- Funds are immediately deposited from the transit accounts into Obiwezy’s account.
