The Situation

In a bid to consolidate the customer experience of  borrowers in the Nigeria credit operations, Migo partnered with OnePipe to maximize the use of standardized, partner-bank APIs that exist on OnePipe’s gateway to achieve a friction-less payback experience for repeat borrowers.

The OnePipe Solution

The Migo use – case involves the use of designated APIs that open an embedded account for the customer at the point of loan repayment and APIs that enable the movement of funds paid into Migo’s account resulting in a hitch-free, convenient, timely transaction end-to-end. In addition to the reusability of these designated, embedded accounts by repeat borrowers for loan repayments, the accounts are full – fledged utility accounts and as such these customers have the option of adopting the Migo embedded accounts as their primary transactional account.
